My paw is getting better

One of the things you have to put up with when you're a dog is hot spots on your skin.  I had one of those dry spots on my paw and even though I licked it - a lot - it didn't get better.  As a matter of fact, I had a big spot where my fur was missing and it really didn't look good to the ladies; if you know what I mean. 

My daddy human took me to dog doctor and the doctor gave me a shot of something right near the sore spot and put a bandage on it.  Keep it covered the doctor said.  That will help it heal.  Right!  Like I'm going to walk around with a bandage on my paw!  I took that off as soon as I got home.

Thanks for stopping by.  My name is Sam -  Sam the Dog.  I'm an 85 pound black lab mix and everyone that meets me says that I'm really handsome.  Of course I agree.  I like people and most people like me too.  I don't really remember my first family, more about that later, but the family I live with now is really great.   They have a nice house that is always cool and a big couch which is where I spend most of my day sleeping.  Since I'm just getting used to doing this blog thing and I only type with one paw I'm going to wrap this up now.  Please stop back and visit me again.  I'll put pictures up soon.
